Hotel guests could be set to benefit from a newly-designed set of state-of-the-art pyjamas if ongoing trials prove successful, it has been revealed.
Budget hotel chain Travelodge is behind the development of what it describes as "customised therapeutic pjs", which are designed to reduce scratching and to regulate body temperature. Travelodge's own research has shown that thousands of people struggle to sleep as a result of issues that the knitted silken suits are tailor-made to alleviate. In addition, Travelodge has cited its own research to claim that British women are particularly willing to sacrifice desirability for a good night's sleep. "Something as simple as changing your bed attire can dramatically affect your quality of sleep," said Leigh McCarron, Travelodge's sleep director. Meanwhile, the same hotel business recently introduced a pillow dubbed the Cuddillow, which is aimed at guests who are staying on their own and want something to hug at night.
Those looking for peace of mind during a holiday may be glad to know that InsureandGo offers a range of competitively-priced travel insurance policies.
