Travel advice for UK travellers has been eased in Zimbabwe, according to a report.
Decreased violence has been cited as the main reason for the change, but the Foreign Office website still "stongly advises" against all travel to high density low income areas in the country.
All but essential travel is also advised against in the Mashonaland and Manicaland regions.
The Foreign Office website also advises travellers to avoid places where war veterans are active and warned that the situation in the country was unpredictable and could "deteriorate further" at short notice.
Advice to British people who live in Zimbabwe includes ensuring you have a plan for how you would leave the country at short notice, as well as keeping all documents needed for travel up to date and keeping on top of local developments in the media.
People should also avoid any type of political demonstrations.
